Today our only assignment was to let others know how we promote our blog other than Twitter and Facebook - currently the most popular places to promote. Then we were asked to share where most of our traffic comes from.
My answers were pretty simple - besides Facebook and Twitter, I promote on Seeded Buzz, Digg, and other blogs. Events like Follow Me Back Tuesday and Friday Blog Hop hosted by other blogs gives you a chance to simply list your blog, wait for new followers and then you follow back. The great part about that is that you find some really great blogs you may not have ran across otherwise. I've just started participating in these events, but they can be a lot of fun!
So far my greatest traffic comes from SITS, BloggyMoms and BlogFrog. They have been an excellent avenue to promote my blog as well as find similar blogs to mine of interest.
