Sunday Citar-Pulling at my Pants

It's time for Sunday Citar with Fresh Mommy:

If you haven't time to respond to a tug at your pants leg, your schedule is too crowded.  ~Robert Brault,

There have been times when all of us have snapped at our child while they were pulling our pant leg because we just wanted to finish one.freaking.thing. There are times we get caught yelling at our kids "what?!?" when they've called our name 100 times trying to get our attention and we were too busy to look up. We've all been there, because none of us are perfect. I know I'm not. And with the crazy hecticness of life, sometimes our priorities get askew.

So let this be today's reality check for you. Being a parent is the greatest blessing we could ever have. Period. So, the next time your child is saying "mom.mom.mom.mooooom." and pulling your pant leg, stop what you're doing, look them straight in the eye and say "yes, honey?" Because at the end of the day, whatever you're working on won't matter, but they will. Just sayin'

So well said! They do matter more than anything, though sometimes it's hard to make it feel that way... thanks for the great reminder!! So glad you joined in on Sunday Citar!
